salesforce.com might be having some success in that big company and and maybe displacing some other legacy you know we'll prefer to see sql crm now as a legacy system even though they're owned by oracle but you know so they're now making their headway in those companies
it's these different ecosystems with sales force being probably the biggest and and the reason is is they have a big following whether you look at their enterprise sector above a thousand or or below and they have a lot of deals that they're doing and those are companies that are just turning on crm they can get it up and running in 30 days
we have a lot of cast iron customers for example coming to us saying hey here's some changes we're seeing from ibm and we don't particularly like those changes
the biggest change that we're seeing and coming from cast iron is really due to the acquisition and the the focus and the shift in focus that ibm takes cast iron
the changes that have occurred with them being part of ibm and dell be becoming part of boomi and there's a void here there's an opportunity for this young company to really take uh take advantage of that void
they just need an integration solution to touch their back office you know sap solution we can do that much easier much more quickly than say a big tip fusion middleware
salesforce.com might be having some success in that big company and and maybe displacing some other legacy you know we'll prefer to see sql crm now as a legacy system even though they're owned by oracle
they may have spent 5 million 10 million on a tibco or a fusion middleware or sap's netweaver and and they're not going to let go of that investment
oracle but oracle on demand more so than the bigger applications that might be candidates for oracle's integration solution fusion middleware but the on-demand solution they turn it on they run it very quick you know they want to get it set up very quick so they want an integration solution to also be set up very quickly and very affordably so we see more interest coming from that sector within within oracle
we do see a lot of uh databases that are on-prem that those companies have built custom applications um but it definitely is sales force uh we're seeing a lot of interest in the microsoft ecosystem whether it be those five key applications crm sl you know uh gp great plane salomon
if it wasn't for google and having the progress that they've had with their applications and the cost the price point we might have seen even a a higher price point when microsoft attacks this space so i think that pressure from both sides will ultimately help
i do so i agree with uh dave ... i think the product will be good and i think ultimately the price point will be the right price point so i i do think it'll it'll have legs and um i think we're going to see quite a bit of it
