it's not simply the case of adopting the right Open Source Products and then going out and using Amazon to be able to scale to Facebook numbers

they are using you know I think a fair amount of of certain companies IBM um and uh I think for networking you know I think my my employer involved quite a bit there

anybody who thinks that that a company like Cisco would stand there and say oh oh stay away from those public Cloud environments Focus only on your data center doesn't understand where we come from

I think the growth rate that they're talking about there is pretty reasonable but if you're going to only if you define Cloud to include private cloud and hybrid Cloud environments in addition to public Cloud I don't see um public Cloud only environments um necessarily uh well no it's possible with small medium businesses possible that they they could continue to grow at that rate as well

I think there's great opportunity for Western companies in China and in all of Southeast Asia

I think that China would happily own that industry for themselves for their own people

I think for networking you know I think my my employer involved quite a bit there but I think that there's a lot of their own stuff that they can do

I to me it's not it's expected and I don't think it's a detriment to cloud in the long term I just think it for any given country it may be uh become an issue for them

I can imagine clouds existing when the scale gets big enough where um sorry you know this is only for Fortune 200 companies that uh you know sign a certain agreement with us

replicating that environment is a significantly more difficult task um especially when you're trying to do it at scale

I don't see it as a as a major huge deal although if the economics become significantly different then I think you'll find the same sort of things that happened in China
