sophisticated companies like Google and Facebook have built their own versions of it this they have this that's at the core of what they build they're not gonna use segments because they have their own version internally they know everything about their users but now it's beholden on companies who are gonna compete with them whether it's Walmart and Target completing competing against say Amazon which probably built their own I assume they need to understand their customers
