look I think the thing that's interesting about Groupon is it is a it is attacking a massive 100 plus billion dollar market that has been in existence for decades and decades and decades and is fundamental to the way goods and services are
there's AIG difference between 100 million revenue for and a billion for Groupon yeah two and a half 2 billion two billion plus for Facebook right those are real numbers those are big numbers big it's a big difference huge huge
Groupon I think is another example of they're just doing they're attacking this massive Market they've invented it sort of a new way to discount products and services and Americans love to buy discounted products and a merch in America love to create discounted products they like to they like to benefit from those discounted products

I thought social was going to solve everything it's not doesn't perform as well I don't think it does and I don't think it ever will I really you don't so the entire premise of Facebook is that they will figure out social advertising I don't believe that I believe really no I don't I what I believe is that Facebook will be a brute force uh kind of business model where you have massive amounts of traffic and you can force lots of lots of business models that sort of a logical business models into

Google's look look at the Google ads I mean I don't I think they enhance the experience
they don't have to be as good as Google when you have such massive scale you can be you can be a little better than a lot of other things and make a ton of money well they have to have 10 times the traffic if they're making 10% of the money per user so there's a big gap there let's say they double it or triple their effectiveness per user which is possible I guess um they still need to have a magnitude more users than Google
the thing it's genius about Google is Google I mean a lot of times I mean people are typing in you know complex multi-word queries
