um I just thought that the network might be better since we plan on staying out in Silicon Valley so if we did techstars we'd have to move all the way out to Boulder for the summer yeah and then we'd probably be back to Silicon Valley in the fall so you probably wouldn't get to take advantage of their Network nearly as much

I think Inc magazine you got an intro through um Jessica Livingston at y combinator
a lot of them we met through our earlier Angel Investors like we might like need a few through Y combinator
it's like college you show up and everyone's new and it's uh there's a feeling of coopetition you really want to be friends with everyone but you also want to be the best startup out of all the other companies in your batch and um during dinners you watch a speaker talk for maybe an hour and then after that you just hang out with other Founders and talk about the problems and challenges you're facing and it's just a really great Network
in our batch most people didn't have a product and many didn't even have an idea going into the program
we looked at like really successful Founders and realized that it made sense to them and it probably makes sense for us especially if we're first time um entrepreneurs
I felt that y combinator was the best insurance that only Equity could purchase like if we were in white Dominator like we have a better Network and more access and more competition for a deal and I just thought it made a lot of sense
