I mean IBM released a study that 50% of some server some company server capacity is just for developing and testing new applications versus hosting them permanently
Amazon their of cluster compute model was a huge was a huge admission of that because they said for a class of workload that we have to get better hardware and better networks you know my question is why didn't they have that across their whole why did they why did they only put something good in that one particular place
the good thing that Amazon did was they disrupted and they executed and they said we can get you this thing and we can get it to you fast yeah and and that fit a certain part of the market for people who are doing lightweight web apps or quick development or very basic tasks and people got really excited about that and they started to say well this may be the future and I don't actually think that's the case
Amazon is pretending like they're selling them a book and that's causing this incredible dissonance in the Enterprise market.
