I don't think it's dead or close to dying or anything no it's throwing off tens of billions of dollars
I feel I agree with a lot of what Gina said I mean they're in this really hard place they're stuck between Google and apple like they can't make they're you they're trying to do this middle way where they make where they make um an operating system in a world where an operating system for phones is free versus another company that makes devices and and they have all these other businesses I feel like they need somebody to come in to decide what Microsoft is to decide whether it wants to be this
are the NFL Clips going to be six seconds or less um because this is this like Twitter has you know in all of its stuff it has this in both in videos and obviously in tweets it has this length limit either six seconds or 140 characters and that doesn't make sense for a whole lot of things
I was essentially arguing that Twitter is a more inherently kind of a nichier product than Facebook which is not to say it's small like if you know it still attracts hundreds of millions of users but um it's of more limited appeal and that's what's great about it I think and I worry that if uh they face pressure to grow faster either revenues or users um that they might morph into something closer to Facebook and and lose what's great about Twitter now
