we are definitely in a bubble but the bubble is like a froth on top of a huge ocean you know so like it's a tsunami and yes there are bubbles all over the waves but it's still a goddamn tsunami of Revenue of usage it's very real this time

large companies are largely ruled by fear and I think this is a fearby uh I mean this in the hands of someone like Google could be very dangerous
500 million that's not an early stage entry I mean what do you think of the valuation the compan was in an early stage 30 million is a company with 30 million 40 million users worth 500 million with no Revenue not on a standalone basis no way so they paid a massive premium
wasn't this an incredibly Savvy move on aol's part to just get a billion dollar generation
in corporations it's so hard to put an app on an actual computer like it's like an act of Congress yes they're so worried about that and so what was neat about this is you get some of those Dropbox capabilities you get without having to download the software yes and it was actually kind of neat I really like it so I this is a big deal for Dropbox I mean Dropbox has to start thinking about application layer functionality on top of just sharing files I mean it's great that they are the best hands
I sometimes I feel like they're doing it just to get position to be acquired by a company that may do collaboration software uh in Redmond or in Mountain View that would all of a say okay these guys are directly applicable to what we need to dominate we got to have these guys more than we truly intend long-term
I think we're seeing that all these people are going to head in the same direction which is this is going to be the new sap new office you know I wouldn't be surprised if you see and I don't have any inside information on this both Dropbox Dropbox Ed Yammer like features Dropbox box.net and Yammer all ADD office like features and they already have some of those features in Yammer where you can build Pages like Wiki editing yeah so it's only a matter of time but I mean this is a great company and

you're not going to get people to switch uh and give up the other two networks of of choice Facebook and Twitter However the fact that they're iterating and and adding features that other networks don't have like the Hangouts and um the the pace of iteration is really starting to show that um at least to users that they're focused on it and they care which means if Hangouts all of a sudden explodes or some of these other things they'll hit
they they Google's in his Taurus uh for doing poor interface I mean I think they're getting much better uh just lately like the past year they've made a lot of strides towards a lot better interface but uh it's not an area that they've been known for
you're scribbling around the edges of the core problem which is what what is the compelling need for me to stop creating content and consuming content on Twitter or Facebook and move to Google+ and I can't answer that question today none of its unique value propositions address any one particular Market well enough for it to switch or come over
I think go+ looks better after this new release but that's just not enough
