no really there's sort of two parts to that answer one is if you spend too much time worrying about a multi billion-dollar entity is going to do then you don't get out of bed you just have to you know do what you fail and do it fast you do with the speed of a small small so I don't worry about it for that reason but secondly there's a lot more video online than there is just keep you I mean YouTube represents a huge amount of consumption and a huge amount of the number of clips that are availabl
despite the fact that there are billions of videos being watched every day online it's still surprisingly difficult for people to discover stuff i mean most of us discover stuff could send through lengths and emails and tweets and Facebook posts but to actually have a place where I can go and get an experience that's personal to me and is exclusively in video form it hasn't been done
i think it was hard for anyone including i film to compete and we were doing different things as well we were much more sort of programmed curated service and we all know what youtube you know was and still essentially is
the month that our deal closed which was october two thousand five was the first month that YouTube's audience was big enough to be measured by comscore uh so so I think they just crossed a hundred thousand visitors and we were at about 12 million well and that by the first quarter of the next year they were at about ten million
youtube was one of those rabbits of lightning you know it was it was an extraordinary thing it was only trying to do one thing and it did it exceptionally well and it always works and it worked on every browser on every computer and that was pretty much lightning in a bottle
