the money part you're not going to be able to beat Google they can out offer anything
Google took a very different problem they they data mined they looked at all the information on the web and tried to apply an algorithm to it so they give you the best of the web not a small subset
if you lose your phone do I lose my implied social network the answer right now is yes
all color knows is your phone that's all we know we know the identity of the phone but we have no IDE idea who you are
we're only sending signals back to our application or our servers so we can actually identify where you're located so we can make sure the people next to you can actually connect with you
when you launch the application we don't ask for a password and we don't ask for your phone number and we don't ask for your email address or your physical address the reason is we do not collect personal private information
it's actually a very very amazing experience for people to to see this stuff happening it's it's it's happening in real time
we're still at 30 something perent penetration on on smartphones and Androids and iPhones so we still have a long long way to go and we wanted to make sure that if you're having a party or moment or experience and you want to share with other people on Twitter on email that it was possible so we made that that possible
I think you know great Technologies are things that you open up and they just work I think the iPad is that way Apple devices are that way you know I think what we failed to do is there's a concept called guard rails which is what's the path that people should take
we have not literally slept and we were doing 20 hour days we haven't left this bunker
we take a very long-term perspective about this you know it it does by the way you know getting one star reviews from people doesn't make us feel good
we built it because we thought it was going to make people's lives better we obviously launched it in a way that wasn't as clear as it could have been it that it that it went for way too much and that we weren't prepared for the for the communication so we made a mistake
the other part of the solution was actually was created at Google it's a very different culture it's a culture design around networking in culture around around machine learning
it's why I love Apple so much and why Apple inspired with this company is Apple believes in this post PC World and what it means for social behavior is
I think great Technologies are things that you open up and they just work I think the iPad is that way Apple devices are that way

they are so decisive in terms of how they move forward I mean there's been a lot of conversation about what is a startup you know apple is a startup it really is in terms of how they make decisions how streamlined it is
it is probably the one of the biggest compliments you can get as an entrepreneur to have Steve Jobs say I want to buy that product because he is the greatest product Creator in the history of Technology do you agree there's no doubt about it
