About E2B

E2B is a fast-growing Series A startup with over $37M in funding and 8-figure revenue. We are building the Agent Cloud and power the infrastructure behind AI labs and some of the most widely used consumer and enterprise agents, including Manus, Genspark, Lindy, ClickUp, Groq, and Artificial Analysis. Our team includes original authors of Firecracker, the AWS microVM technology powering Lambda, along with alumni of Cognition, JetBrains, Zapier, and Wish.

About the role

You will be building the next cloud platform for running AI software - a cloud where AI apps are building other software apps.

Your job will be:

  1. Building a distributed system for millions and billions of AI agents running on E2B

  2. Building an orchestrator for placing sandboxes in the right nodes

  3. Adding support for sandbox live migrations

  4. Making sure our self-hosting DX is as smooth as possible (we’re open-source)

  5. Not letting our sandboxes take more than 200ms to start (starting with the user hitting enter)

  6. Scaling to millions and later billions of sandboxes running at the same time

  7. Building an observability stack starting at the kernel level of virtual machines

We’re looking for an infrastructure engineer passionate about making things run fast and efficiently, and running A LOT of them at the same time.

If you aren’t afraid of going into the kernel of a VM and words like Firecracker, eBPF, UFFD, block device, L4 load balancing, noisy neighbor problem, or hugepages sound exciting to you, we want to hear from you!

What we're looking for

Bonus points for:

What it’s like to work at E2B

We’re a fast-growing startup with in-person (4 days on-site, 1 day WFH) offices in San Francisco and Prague, Czech Republic. We already generate 8-figure revenue and work directly with top-tier AI companies like Manus, Genspark, Lindy, ClickUp, Groq, Artificial Analysis and other exciting teams pushing the frontier of AI.

We offer healthcare, vision, and dental insurance, unlimited PTO, 401k, and a variety of perks for in-office employees.

Our team includes original authors of Firecracker, the AWS microVM technology powering Lambda, along with alumni of Cognition, JetBrains, Zapier, and Wish.

ABOUT E2B

E2B is a fast-growing Series A startup with 8-figure revenue. We've raised over $37M since our founding in 2023. Our customers include companies like Microsoft, Perplexity, Hugging Face, Manus, and Groq. We're building the next hyperscaler for AI agents.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is the first business operations leadership hire at E2B. The company has scaled from $1M to 8-figure ARR in under a year, raised a Series A, and is now preparing for the next stage of growth.

You'll own everything that isn't engineering, GTM, or design. Finance ops until our Head of Finance lands. Legal admin and contracts. People ops and onboarding. Office logistics across San Francisco and Prague. Vendor management. The internal tools that make the company run.

This is a hands-on role for the first 6 to 12 months. You will personally run payroll, negotiate the office lease renewal, and fix the broken Notion. As the company grows, this becomes a COO-track role with a real team underneath you.

You'll partner directly with Vasek (CEO) and Tomas (Head of Engineering).

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Build the operating cadence. Weekly leadership rituals, monthly board prep, quarterly planning. Today these happen ad-hoc. You make them repeatable.

- Run people ops end-to-end. Offers, onboarding, payroll across US and EU entities, benefits administration, equity grants, performance review process, offboarding. Partner with Talent on recruiting ops where the recruiting machine spills into HR (offers, references, background checks, work authorization).

- Own legal admin. Customer contracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, contractor MSAs for our EU hires. You won't be drafting from scratch, but you'll be the person turning around redlines, managing outside counsel, and keeping the contract tracker honest.

- Run office and team logistics. Two offices, two countries, two payroll regimes, occasional team offsites, equipment provisioning, real estate decisions. The boring infrastructure that lets engineers ship.

- Own vendor and tool sprawl. Every SaaS bill, every renewal, every \"do we still use this?\" question. Procurement, security review, cost optimization.

- Set up the bench. As scope grows past one person, you'll hire your replacements: an HR/people lead, a finance hire, eventually a head of legal. You'll define those roles and run those searches.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 6+ years in operations, with at least 2-3 years operating at a Series A or Series B startup that scaled headcount through 30 to 100. You've watched a company double in size and you know what breaks.

- Generalist DNA. You're comfortable owning finance one week, legal the next, and rewriting the offer letter template on a Friday night. You don't need a defined function to be effective.

- Strong with numbers. Comfortable in spreadsheets, can read a P&L, can model headcount and burn. You don't need a CPA, but you should not need to hand the model off to be useful.

- Real ownership track record. You've personally built or rebuilt at least two of: a payroll process, an offers / equity process, a contracts pipeline, a close cycle, a board reporting cadence, a vendor management process. Not \"managed a team that did\", but actually built.

- Operates at the speed of engineering. We ship fast. Operations needs to keep up.

- Excited to work in person from San Francisco. You'll be sitting next to our CEO and the leadership team.

NICE-TO-HAVE

- Prior chief-of-staff role at a venture-backed B2B startup.

- Experience operating across US and EU entities, including the realities of EU contractor models, GDPR, and entity setup.

- Experience scaling people ops and recruiting ops together. We're hiring fast and the two functions touch constantly.

- Background in B2B SaaS finance, especially with usage-based revenue.

- Ex-consulting (Bain / McKinsey / BCG) is fine if you've spent the years since actually operating, not just running reports.

Your job will be to own and scale the backend that powers the E2B Dashboard and SDK — the APIs, data, and services developers rely on to run, monitor, and debug their sandboxes. You're the backend counterpart to our dashboard engineers: they own the experience, you own the services and data behind it, and together you ship product end-to-end.

This is product/application backend - APIs, data layer, auth, billing, usage metrics, real-time log/metric pipelines. It is not our low-level infrastructure (Firecracker, orchestration, the sandbox runtime) - that lives with our Core and Platform teams, who you'll integrate with but not duplicate.

The split is roughly 80% Go backend, 20% TypeScript — you live in Go, but you're comfortable dropping into the Next.js app to wire things up end-to-end and unblock the frontend rather than throwing work over a wall.

You'll build enterprise-grade services that scale to 100k+ weekly active users. Responsibilities include:

This role requires a high amount of ownership and the ability to take projects from 0 to 1. You'll have deep autonomy to make backend and product decisions. If you see a better way to build something, you build it.

What we're looking for

If you join E2B, you'll get a lot of freedom. We expect you to be proactive and take ownership. You'll be taking projects from 0 to 1 with the support of the rest of the team.

E2B has a large and growing community of developers, open-source contributors, and paying customers. Many of these users have never spoken with our team but they are already building with E2B, participating in our ecosystem, and signaling where demand is emerging.

As our Community & Events Marketing Manager, you’ll own E2B’s developer community across Discord, GitHub, forums, and in-person meetups. You’ll also build a portfolio of small, technical, high-intent events including workshops, hands-on builds, dinners, hackathons, and ecosystem activations.

This is not a brand-awareness-only role. You’ll be responsible for creating meaningful developer experiences and connecting those experiences to qualified pipeline. You’ll work closely with Growth Engineering, Sales, and Content to identify high-intent accounts, route opportunities, and measure which programs deserve further investment.

What you’ll do

Own E2B’s developer community. Run programming and moderation across Discord, GitHub, forums, and other community channels. Build systems that surface useful feedback, high-intent users, and emerging use cases.

Build a portfolio of technical events. Produce workshops, hands-on builds, technical dinners, hackathons, and other focused events for developers building AI agents.

Create an event-to-opportunity engine. Define the handoff from community or event engagement to Sales, including qualification criteria, account mapping, follow-up ownership, and clear SLAs established before each event.

Grow E2B’s ecosystem presence. Develop programs with agent frameworks, open-source runtimes, infrastructure partners, and communities where E2B’s users already spend time.

Map community activity to accounts. Partner with Growth Engineering to connect community identities and event participation to company and account-level signals.

Measure commercial impact. Track event-sourced accepted opportunities, cost per accepted opportunity, community-active-to-PQL conversion, pipeline contribution, and engagement across strategic accounts.

Run disciplined experiments. Test each format against a defined cost and conversion target. Scale what works, improve what shows promise, and stop programs that don’t produce results.

Build the community feedback loop. Bring structured qualitative feedback into product, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market decisions.

What we’re looking for

3–6 years of experience in community, field marketing, events, developer marketing, or a related role for a technical product.

Experience running events with a real budget and a measurable pipeline or revenue target—not only attendance or brand-awareness goals.

A track record of building or growing technical communities across channels such as Discord, GitHub, forums, meetups, hackathons, or developer conferences.

Strong program-management skills. You can manage several event formats, partners, vendors, budgets, and follow-up motions without losing operational rigor.

Comfort with metrics and experimentation. You can define a hypothesis, set a target, measure results against a baseline, and make a clear decision about whether to repeat a program.

Credibility with developers. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you should understand technical audiences, ask informed questions, and avoid turning every interaction into a sales pitch.

Strong cross-functional instincts. You can work closely with Sales, Growth Engineering, Content, and Product while maintaining clear ownership.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Excited to work in person from our San Francisco office.

Nice-to-have

Experience marketing infrastructure, developer tools, open-source software, AI products, or usage-based SaaS.

Familiarity with the AI-agent ecosystem, including agent frameworks, model providers, sandboxes, and developer infrastructure.

Experience connecting community identities and product usage to CRM accounts or product-qualified leads.

Existing relationships across developer communities, technical event organizers, or the AI infrastructure ecosystem.

Our team includes original authors of Firecracker, the AWS microVM technology powering Lambda, along with alumni of Cognition, JetBrains, Zapier, and Wish.\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE ROLE\n\nE2B has a large and growing community of developers, open-source contributors, and paying customers. Many of these users have never spoken with our team but they are already building with E2B, participating in our ecosystem, and signaling where demand is emerging.\n\nAs our Community & Events Marketing Manager, you’ll own E2B’s developer community across Discord, GitHub, forums, and in-person meetups. You’ll also build a portfolio of small, technical, high-intent events including workshops, hands-on builds, dinners, hackathons, and ecosystem activations.\n\nThis is not a brand-awareness-only role. You’ll be responsible for creating meaningful developer experiences and connecting those experiences to qualified pipeline. You’ll work closely with Growth Engineering, Sales, and Content to identify high-intent accounts, route opportunities, and measure which programs deserve further investment.\n\n\n\n\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\n\nOwn E2B’s developer community. Run programming and moderation across Discord, GitHub, forums, and other community channels. Build systems that surface useful feedback, high-intent users, and emerging use cases.\n\nBuild a portfolio of technical events. Produce workshops, hands-on builds, technical dinners, hackathons, and other focused events for developers building AI agents.\n\nCreate an event-to-opportunity engine. Define the handoff from community or event engagement to Sales, including qualification criteria, account mapping, follow-up ownership, and clear SLAs established before each event.\n\nGrow E2B’s ecosystem presence. Develop programs with agent frameworks, open-source runtimes, infrastructure partners, and communities where E2B’s users already spend time.\n\nMap community activity to accounts. Partner with Growth Engineering to connect community identities and event participation to company and account-level signals.\n\nMeasure commercial impact. Track event-sourced accepted opportunities, cost per accepted opportunity, community-active-to-PQL conversion, pipeline contribution, and engagement across strategic accounts.\n\nRun disciplined experiments. Test each format against a defined cost and conversion target. Scale what works, improve what shows promise, and stop programs that don’t produce results.\n\nBuild the community feedback loop. Bring structured qualitative feedback into product, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market decisions.\n\n\n\n\nWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR\n\n3–6 years of experience in community, field marketing, events, developer marketing, or a related role for a technical product.\n\nExperience running events with a real budget and a measurable pipeline or revenue target—not only attendance or brand-awareness goals.\n\nA track record of building or growing technical communities across channels such as Discord, GitHub, forums, meetups, hackathons, or developer conferences.\n\nStrong program-management skills. You can manage several event formats, partners, vendors, budgets, and follow-up motions without losing operational rigor.\n\nComfort with metrics and experimentation. You can define a hypothesis, set a target, measure results against a baseline, and make a clear decision about whether to repeat a program.\n\nCredibility with developers. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you should understand technical audiences, ask informed questions, and avoid turning every interaction into a sales pitch.\n\nStrong cross-functional instincts. You can work closely with Sales, Growth Engineering, Content, and Product while maintaining clear ownership.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication.\n\nExcited to work in person from our San Francisco office.\n\n\n\n\nNICE-TO-HAVE\n\nExperience marketing infrastructure, developer tools, open-source software, AI products, or usage-based SaaS.\n\nFamiliarity with the AI-agent ecosystem, including agent frameworks, model providers, sandboxes, and developer infrastructure.\n\nExperience connecting community identities and product usage to CRM accounts or product-qualified leads.\n\nExisting relationships across developer communities, technical event organizers, or the AI infrastructure ecosystem.\n\nExperience creating technical content, moderating technical discussions, or supporting hands-on developer workshops.\n\n\n\n\nWHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AT E2B\n\nWe’re a fast-growing startup with in-person (4 days on-site, 1 day WFH) offices in San Francisco and Prague, Czech Republic.

E2B is looking for a Technical Copywriter to turn complex product and engineering ideas into clear, accurate content for developers building AI agents.

This is a hands-on execution role to work from hypotheses, priorities, and briefs set by our marketing leadership, then own the path from draft to publication. Your focus will be producing high-quality technical content at a consistent cadence.

You’ll write comparison, migration, and integration pages; create docs-adjacent explainers from conversations with engineers and the codebase; produce customer case studies; and edit work from specialist freelancers. Every piece should be technically credible, easy to understand, and structured so we can measure its impact.

This role is a strong fit for someone who writes quickly without sacrificing accuracy, takes feedback without friction, and is genuinely comfortable writing to be tested and iterated.

What you’ll do

Turn priorities into published content. Work from an established backlog of hypotheses and briefs, moving high-priority ideas from draft through technical review to publication on a committed cadence.

Write comparison, migration, and integration pages. Own the most repeatable, high-volume content across the answer layer, helping developers understand where E2B fits and how to adopt it.

Create technically credible explainers. Interview engineers, read documentation and code, and translate complex concepts into clear content without relying on secondhand summaries.

Produce customer case studies. Partner with account owners and customers to run interviews, draft narratives, manage approvals, and publish useful stories.

Edit specialist freelance work. Manage quality across outside contributors, ensuring every piece meets the same standards for accuracy, structure, tone, and usefulness.

Work inside an experiment loop. Ship content against a defined hypothesis, target metric, and review date. Maintain consistent structure and instrumentation so results can be evaluated cleanly.

Build a reliable review process. Partner with Engineering and Marketing to make technical review predictable, incorporate feedback quickly, and minimize correctness rewrites.

Measure execution quality. Track publishing cadence, technical accuracy, turnaround from identified content gap to live page, and throughput across internal and freelance work.

What we’re looking for

2–5 years of experience writing technical content for developers, infrastructure products, developer tools, APIs, or a similarly technical audience.

A portfolio that demonstrates clear, accurate writing about complex technical products. Experience with comparison pages, migration guides, integrations, documentation, or technical case studies is especially relevant.

Enough technical fluency to read code, interview engineers, understand APIs and developer workflows, and catch errors in your own work.

Strong editorial judgment. You can turn an imperfect brief or technical conversation into a clean, useful piece without inventing claims or losing important nuance.

Speed and consistency. You can manage multiple pieces at different stages and publish against a committed cadence.

Comfort with feedback and measurement. You take edits without friction, write within an established strategy, and are willing to let performance data determine what gets repeated, revised, or retired.

Excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Able to work from our San Francisco office or remotely, with strong overlap with the team.

Nice-to-have

Experience writing about AI agents, model infrastructure, sandboxes, cloud infrastructure, open-source software, or usage-based SaaS.

Hands-on experience with developer documentation, APIs, SDKs, command-line tools, or code samples.

Experience managing freelance writers or editing technical work from subject-matter experts.

Experience working with SEO, answer-engine optimization, content experimentation, or conversion-focused technical pages.

Familiarity with the AI-agent ecosystem, including agent frameworks, model providers, sandboxes, and developer infrastructure.

Experience producing customer stories from technical interviews and managing external approval cycles.
