We deleted the IAM user and all associated keys. Confirmed remediation in the support case.

Current status: Total silence. Support agents keep saying "the specialized team is looking into it," but we have had zero updates while our business is dying.

We have already rotated all credentials and verified that no other unauthorized access exists. We are a small team and this 18-hour delay with no human response from the security team is devastating.

It doesn't solve accountability.

When an AI agent calls execute_wire_transfer today, there's no cryptographic proof it happened, no proof who authorized it, and no tamper-evident record of the outcome. Editable logs and unverified timestamps don't cut it when real money or infrastructure is on the line.

I've been building TrustAgentAI — an open-source accountability layer that wraps MCP tool calls in a 3-phase signed receipt protocol:

Intent Envelope → Agent A signs: "I intend to call X with these exact args"
Acceptance Receipt → Agent B signs: "I validated and accepted this intent"
Execution Envelope → Agent B signs: "I executed it, here is the outcome hash"

Each receipt is signed with Ed25519 over a JCS (RFC 8785) canonical hash. All three are chained in a DAG ledger — causality is cryptographically enforced, not just logged. The ledger Merkle-batches entries and anchors roots externally (L2 blockchain), making retroactive tampering detectable even by a server admin.

The result is a Dispute Pack: a self-contained bundle that proves what happened, when, and who authorized it. Designed to satisfy auditors, insurers, and legal arbitrators — not just dashboards.

What's different from existing MCP security tools:
ScopeGate, ai-runtime-guard, and similar tools focus on preventing unauthorized actions at the permission level. TrustAgentAI focuses on proving what happened after the fact — non-repudiation for the cases where permissions were granted but accountability is still needed. These approaches are complementary.

Technical stack:

Ed25519 via @noble/ed25519 (audited, zero-dependency)
JCS canonicalization per RFC 8785 (deterministic hashing across platforms)
DAG ledger with Merkle batching (each entry's hash includes parent hashes)
Anti-replay via per-(did, nonce) uniqueness with TTL + 5s clock skew tolerance
Risk budget enforcement (D4) at proxy level before execution
HTTP server exposing /accept, /executed, /dispute/:traceId

I started my project because existing photo-sharing sites didn't do what I wanted. Like a lot of parents, I'm busy and don't have a lot of time to organize photos. I made a site that automatically organizes in a nice layout that scales easily to several years' worth of photos. For anybody who has a backlog of photos that tell a story (kids' activities, travel, etc.) I strongly feel I've made the best site.

The problem is I've chosen the worst market. Yes, there are lots of parents out there with piles of photos on their hard drives. Yes, they're interested in sharing them. But no, their hair is not on fire. Photo sharing is one of many good things they'd like to get around to some day.

I have about ten people actively posting photos to the site, but they're all people I've directly talked to and/or shown the site to. What does it take to go viral?

Or where do I turn next to find the right customers? What I've ended up with is a lot like a blogging site, but with much better photo support. But bloggers tend to pick one platform and stick with it. Where do new bloggers come from?

Some private schools want to draw parents in more to what's happening inside the school. School administrators have little time. I have something that lets you instantly document recent events. Is that a market I should pursue?

I've integrated with Piclens for slideshows. I can send traffic their way; perhaps I should get them sending traffic my way. Are there other services I could integrate with that might boost my marketing/sales efforts?

Is there some other way to go viral with busy parents that I haven't thought of?

Long story short, you call the number and it puts you through around ~3.5 minutes of pre-recorded nonsense only to be told "We're sorry, but we have too many calls to help you at this time. Please call back later." and then hang up on you. Not place you in a hold queue, literally hang up on you. This is not a joke, exaggeration or lie, this is quite real.

The thing is, if you get REAL lucky, you MIGHT just make it through to the hold queue after all. There's a slight variation in the way the pre-recorded message plays out in the first minute or two if you happen to make it through, but it's all based on unknowable and unpredictable call volume from potentially hundreds of thousands of other people all at the same time and the line is only open M-F 8-5.

The only way to solve a problem with this agency in my case is to reach a human being with this agency and this is the only way to do it. Problem is, it's nearly impossible to get into the hold queue. I've called them, brute-force style, over a dozen times over and over again and been hung up on after the pre-recorded crap every single time. The only way to get into the hold queue is to get lucky. Which means I need a way to automate this thing for brute force so I can finally get a human.

Anyway, I've got an iPhone 12. I'd rather not have to sit here and dial, wait, hang up, dial, wait, hang up, etc. all day long trying to brute force my way into a hold queue to get to a human being, which is unfortunately the only possible way to solve my problem with this particular state government agency.

I'm not aware of any programmable phone technology interface that I could use as a one-off to automate my iPhone's phone interface for something like this, hence why I'm asking HN. Would you folks happen to know of a tool I could use for something like this? Doesn't need to be anything super formal, certainly not looking to build a product, and it only needs to dial ONE number. It just needs to be able to listen for a pattern and hang up and repeat if it hears that exact same pattern, and if it hears a variation from that, NOT hang up. Ideally something I can script from my MacBook Pro to control my iPhone, then put the thing on speaker while I go off and do more important tasks, like clean the kitchen or something.

I'm chasing down non-technology options (state senator's office) but in the meantime, I'd like to see if there's a way I can automate brute forcing my way through their broken phone system. Anyone know of any scriptable way to do this? Thank you!
["ropedia
Ask HN: Scriptable iPhone Redialer Interface?
